``Treasuries are attractive at these levels,'' Shun Totani, who oversees the equivalent of $595 million of non-Japanese bonds at Asahi Mutual Life Insurance Co., said in Tokyo. ``They are getting closer to levels that we will be interested in buying.''
The bonds had the biggest drop in more than five weeks yesterday on speculation reports on hiring and incomes this week will suggest economic growth and inflation will quicken, and that the Federal Reserve will keep raising interest rates. one man who was cleared by DNA evidence after serving 10 years in prison for rape has settled his lawsuit against the city for $2 million.
Eric R. Sarsfield, 42, of Clinton, sought at least $10 million in damages in one federal civil rights lawsuit filed against the city and several police officers. ... |
