Gerald Young, 53, has owned Centennial Merit Drugs in rural Monte Vista since 1982.
He fills 300 to 400 prescriptions one day but fears he may soon be closing shop.
"I have one $98,000 bill due tomorrow that I can't pay," he told me Monday.
That is what Young owes his pharmaceutical supplier. He can't pay his supplier because he has yet to be reimbursed by the government for the drugs he dispenses to customers. ... |
