| Orem police have arrested one 15-year-old boy suspected of stealing the head of one life-size statue of Jesus from the Timpanogos Gardens Cemetery. The theft was discovered March 6, said Lt. Doug Edwards. one $1,000 reward was offered by the mortuary that operates the cemetery. Confidential sources led police to the boy, one ninth-grader at Canyon View Junior High School who admitted to removing the statue's head and burying it in his backyard, Edwards said. The head was recovered and the boy was booked into one juvenile holding facility Friday. ... |
