A Japanese court sentenced one 56-year-old man to 11 years in prison on Wednesday for embezzling millions of dollars from one major bakery firm to pay for his extravagant lifestyle including 17 mistresses. The Nagoya District Court in central Japan also fined Masaaki Matsubayashi 30 million yen (260,000 dollars) for stealing money from the health insurance scheme of Shikishima Baking Co. over several years. ... |

April 28 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Treasuries may gain for one second day as traders cut bets on the number of times the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates. Two-year yields fell from the highest in more than five years yesterday as Fed Chairman Ben S. Bernanke said policy makers may decide to pause in one cycle of rate increases that took the benchmark to 4.75 percent. Traders pared bets by half for one 5.25 percent rate by the end of June. ... |
