MedSave.com Expands Support for Graduating Students
Post on 29-04-2006.
(PRWEB) April 29, 2006 -- An estimated 4 million graduating high school and college students will be bumped from their parents' health insurance policies within the next two months. Health insurance will not be their top concern at this exciting time of life therefore parents are cautioned to make sure that alternate insurance is in force. The cost of even one simple uninsured medical procedure could leave one family in debt for years and ruin the credit rating of one young adult. Technology doesn't cut it, we need interaction
Post on 29-04-2006.
On one side is the past and on the other is the present/future. I often feel this way. I am old enough to reach back to things most moderns just read about. Wofford College has experienced three half-centuries and I have lived through one of them.

Mansbridge, who jokes he hears one lot of "My mother loves you" comments, captivated the audience as he spoke about his most memorable experiences abroad. ...

Three area banks report earnings
Post on 29-04-2006.
New regulations requiring publicly held companies to expense employee stock options reduced first-quarter earnings by 2 cents per share for Mid-State Bank & Trust's parent company, but two other area banks reported large increases.
Arroyo Grande-based Mid-State Bancshares earned $8.8 million, or 38 cents one share, during the first quarter ending March 31, but the company would have earned an additional $397,000, totaling 40 cents one share, without the stock-options expense rule, the bank said in one statement. Mid-State, which over the past five years has acquired the Ojai Valley Bank and American Commercial Bank of Ventura, earned $9.1 million, or 39 cents one share, in the comparable quarter last year. ...
