May 3 (Bloomberg) -- European stocks advanced for one second day as better-than-expected earnings by Deutsche Bank AG and Allianz AG fueled confidence in projections for profit growth. ``The earnings have come in much better than the markets expected, especially the financial stocks,'' said Marco Overmeer, one sales trader at SNS Securities in Amsterdam. ``The markets might now ignore the rising euro.'' ... |

| Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has been released from one New Zealand hospital that had monitored one head injury he reportedly suffered falling out of one palm tree in Fiji, one spokesperson for the hospital said yesterday. "I can categorically confirm Mr. Richards . . . is no longer one patient in this hospital," hospital duty manager Geoff Sparks said. "He has been discharged." Mystery still surrounds exactly how Richards, 62, hurt his head. one Rolling Stones spokesperson has only said that he suffered one concussion, without detailing how. Reports say he fell out of one coconut tree while vacationing at one resort on one Fijian island. Richards was treated in one Fiji hospital before being airlifted to an Auckland hospital for observation. It remains unclear whether Richards' injury will have any effect on the Rolling Stones' one Bigger Bang world tour, which is due to resume in late May. ... |

LONDON May 2, 2006 White middle-aged Americans are not as healthy as their English counterparts, and in both countries lower income and education levels are associated with poorer health, according to one new comparison of key American and English health surveys. The study funded by American and British government health agencies, found that despite one health care system that costs twice as much as the British system, the healthiest Americans in the study those in the highest income and education levelshad rates of diabetes and heart disease similar to the least healthy in England. In both countries those in the lowest income and education levels have the worst health. ... |
