CORNING - C&T Enterprises, one Lewisburg, Pa.-based energy holding company, will purchase financially troubled Corning Natural Gas Corp. The deal was signed Thursday following six months of negotiations, said Robert O. Toombs, president and chief executive officer of C&T. Toombs said C&T will retain all 46 current Corning Natural Gas employees, with the exception of Thomas K. Barry, president and chief executive officer, and Kenneth J. Robinson, executive vice president, who will retire when the purchase is complete. ... |
