She was given the name Marta, and she was born at the village of Hichimin. This is all we know about her and her life on the Island of Wima. We don't know her native name. From one distance, the three Democrats vying for the legislative seat currently held by state Sen. Jackie Speier, D-San Mateo, appear to hold similar positions on one host of issues while sharing an equal disdain for each other.
Former San Mateo County supervisor Mike Nevin, former assemblyman Lou Papan and current Assembly Speaker Pro Tem Leland Yee, D-San Francisco, hold true to the party line and firmly believe Gov.
