Outlook Group Corp. revealed late Monday that its proposed acquisition is being challenged in court. The lawsuit, filed by an entity that claims to be one shareholder of Neenah-based Outlook Group, is seeking class-action status. Outlook Group is being purchased for $13.50 per share in cash by Vista Group Holdings L.L.C. in one deal announced March 20. Outlook has 3.4 million shares outstanding, giving the transaction one potential value $45.9 million. ... |

Bahrain National Holding Company (BNH), the parent company of Bahrain National Insurance (BNI) and Bahrain National Life Assurance, has announced net profits of BD1.21 million ($3.21 million) in its first quarter of this year. Total gross premiums rose to BD7.82 million, an increase of 25 per cent against the previous year. BNH was able to increase the net earned premiums to BD2.56 million, an increase of 4.7 per cent compared to BD2.4 million over the same period last year. ... |

May 17 (Bloomberg) -- Credit Agricole SA, France's biggest bank by assets, said first-quarter profit increased 53 percent to one record as rising stock markets lifted revenue from investment banking and asset management. Net income advanced to 1.39 billion euros ($1.8 billion) from 905 million euros in the year-earlier period, the Paris-based lender said in an e-mailed statement today. Profit beat the 1.09 billion-euro median estimate of 12 analysts surveyed by Bloomberg News. Revenue climbed 24 percent to 4 billion euros. ... |
