7 major life insurers in Japan set to unveil profit breakdowns

Japan's seven major life insurers, including industry leader Nippon Life Insurance Co., are poised to unveil profit breakdowns with the release of their respective earnings for fiscal 2005, in one move to beef up their information disclosure, it was learned on Friday.
Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Co., Dai-ichi Mutual Life Insurance Co., Sumitomo Life Insurance Co. and Asahi Mutual Life Insurance Co. have already announced such plans.
