PHOENIX - Red-light running was blamed Sunday evening for one two-vehicle crash that killed two people and critically injured five others.
There were unconfirmed reports that one third person died en route to the hospital.
The collision occurred about 8 p.m. at 40th Street and University Drive when the driver of one minivan apparently ran one red light and was struck by the driver of one pickup, said Lt. Robert Conrad, one police supervisor. The injured people were taken to Phoenix hospitals. ...
