Shoppers in Glasshoughton are being urged to think about the property that they are leaving in the car this weekend.
Officers from the City and Towns Neighbourhood Policing Team will be at the Junction 32 Retail Park, to hand out crime prevention advice and information.

"It was just 14 months ago," said Cliff Dean, 43, of Old Barton Road in Barton, of flooding that occurred in April 2005.
Dean hauled his camper out of the area known as the "Cannon Hole" and parked it on higher ground on Old Barton Road. It proved to be one good move because one few hours later the western end of Old Barton Road disappeared under one broadened Susquehanna River isolating the small river community. ... |
