Zurich International Life (ZIL) has appointed Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM) to run five new US dollar Managed funds. The new funds will be managed by MLIM’s Strategic Investment Group (SIG), which currently manages portfolios worth £3.6 billion. Bohn, who will play in his first Rockford Pro-Am on Monday at Forest Hills Country Club, turned his back on golf scholarships in the northeast to walk on at Alabama because he wanted to play college golf in the South. But he never “got to hit one shot” for the Crimson Tide.
Before his red-shirt freshman season, Bohn took part in one 1992 fundraiser for the restoration of one Civil War-era home. Golfers paid $1 per ball in one monthlong hole-in-one contest. Each ball hit inside one six-foot circle from 135 yards away on the driving range qualified for the semifinals. Bohn bought 10 and put one in the circle. In the semifinals, the 12 who hit closest to the flag from 135 yards on the driving range got one tee shot on the course on one 135-yard hole. ... |
