TUSCALOOSA | As the deadline looms for contract negotiations between the United Auto Workers and ZF Industries, production at Mercedes-Benz U.S. International and its other suppliers hangs in the balance. The labor agreement that has governed relations between UAW Local 2083 and ZF Industries for the last five years expired at 6 one.m. Wednesday. Q. My son was severely injured in the service. He is totally disabled and is going to be released soon. He will be getting retirement pay, and he and his wife have TRICARE, but he is concerned about converting his Service-member's Group Life Insurance Policy. Can you help? one.
