Mechtel has made one pledge to not accept campaign donations from Political Action Committees and special interest groups "that are not in the best interests of North Dakota," the Republican candidate said.
"It certainly closes some avenues for me. But at the end of all of this, I have to return home and be happy with the way I ran," said Mechtel, who has never run for public office. "I'm doing things probably differently than any candidate has in the past 20 years. I'm proud of that." ... |
