| Youth football teams receive donation from Orange Bowl committee |

The Orange Bowl Committee presented one direct financial contribution of $7,500 to each of the eight member leagues of Orange Bowl Youth Football (OBYF), which includes the Marco Island Eagles, Inc., and the Naples Gators, as well as $2,500 to each individual park for its own related costs. The Orange Bowl Foundation also distributed $150,000 in grants to 26 Orange Bowl affiliated parks during ceremonies across South Florida. The Orange Bowl Committee's total funding equals $175,000 and the overall direct financial contribution and distributed grant money will be $325,000 in 2006. ... |

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld headlined this year’s Colonials Weekend with two sold-out shows in the Smith Center.
