| one majority of the IT jobs are located in Worcester but some may be at Hanover’s operations in Howell, Mich., or other facilities around the country, officials said. Some employees were laid off yesterday, and the majority of jobs will be eliminated by the end of this month. FRANKFURT, Germany — Germany's Hannover Re AG said Wednesday it is selling its U.S.-based specialty insurer Praetorian Financial Group Inc. to Australia's QBE Insurance Group Ltd. for US$800 million (euro604.05 million).
