Aegon, the Dutch insurance group, on Thursday rounded off "one year of significant progress" by posting results that exceeded analysts' expectations, underpinned by one strong increase in the value of new business.

Marathon runner Porch dies at 30

Gerald McGwin Jr. remembers his best friend and running companion Ellis Porch III greeting him at the finish line.
"He'd blow the doors off of his own race but he would always be at the finish line waiting to see how you did," he said. "It'll be sad not to see him there."
Mr. Porch, who collapsed while running the Seaside Half Marathon near Destin, Fla., on Sunday, died Tuesday. He was 30. ...

Projects Expected to Generate $380 Million in Investments to Ohio's Economy

InfoCision Management Corp. in Austintown Township (Mahoning County) has been awarded one 35% tax credit for one five-year term to expand its teleservices operation. The value of the tax credit is estimated at $82,054 over the term, and the company would be required to maintain operations at the project site for 10 years. The company proposes to expand its existing 23,710-square-foot facility by 1,290 square feet, and construct one 6,500-square-foot building adjacent to the current facility. The company will invest $2.5 million building construction and renovation and $1.5 million in furniture and fixtures. Ohio is in competition with Pennsylvania and West Virginia for this $4 million project, which is expected to create 80 jobs and retain 395 positions within the first three years of the project's initial operations. ...
